FAQ

If I am a cranio-sacral therapy graduate from a non IAIBCST school, can I still become an IBCST recognised practitioner?

Graduates from non IAIBCST schools may be able to attend suitable postgraduate courses in order to develop the necessary range of skills to become Integrated Cranio-Sacral Therapists. Specific requirements will depend on their individual previous education.

Is liability insurance available through the IAIBCST?

Insurance is generally arranged through independent insurance companies. For information about liability insurance, please contact your school who will be able to recommend appropriate insurance companies in your area.

Are there renewal requirements for IBCST?

The IBCST award is an indication of graduation from an approved integrated biodynamic training. It therefore does not require renewal. Members are requested to keep their details up to date and to inform the IAIBCST of any changes.

Does IAIBCST have a central office and staff?

All administrative processes are carried out by individual schools, implementing policies developed under the IAIBCST umbrella. IAIBCST therefore does not have a central office or staff.

Are there variations in the curriculum among IAIBCST schools?

All IAIBCST follow the same broad curriculum. Each college or training may adapt this broad curriculum in accordance with its own philosophy and objectives.

Does IAIBCST provide ongoing support activities like supervision, continuing education, post-graduate training, and related programs?

Postgraduate training and continuing professional development courses are provided by individual colleges. Supervision is generally arranged through the appropriate cranio-sacral associations or accrediting bodies. Postgraduate events hosted by IAIBCST colleges may be posted on the events page of this website.
